    Deep Zoom is a very cool mash-up using Bing Maps and the NOAA nautical charts. By tapping into the NOAA database of tide and current tables, you can see right away what’s going on in your area. The author of the program has made it very clear that it’s strictly a reference tool and not for navigation.

  3. Magic Seaweed
    Surf reports as well as wind and tides for a large number of specific points on the coast of the United States and beyond. I always check here before going on the Atlantic to see what the swells and conditions will be. Great info.

  4. NOAA
    The national weather service. A wealth of information including very accurate weather predictions, wind data, current radar, storm warnings and so much more. I always check this site before going out on the water.

  5. Salt Water Tides
    Tides for the whole of the United States.

  6. The Weather Channel
    The Weather Channels web site. Good predictions and lots of info.

  7. Weather Underground
    A great resource for weather forecasts.
